My name is Kundan Kumar. I was born on 1st march, 1985 in a small village of Bihar near the Indo- Nepal border. My Father, Pasupati Nath Prasad, is a business man cum farmer (was surprised to know a few years back that he did B.A.M.S also) and my mother, Rambha devi, is a House-wife. I have a younger sister, Puja and a younger brother, Kunal. Puja has passed her 12th level examination and preparing for medical entrance examination and Kunal is studying in 12th standard. I have spent most of my childhood in my village. Due to unavailability of a good school, my father used to teach me by himself. Without exaggeration, i can say that whatever I am today is due to my father. Under his guidance, I developed a good interest in Mathematics and Physics. After completing my 12th standard from a local government college, I went to Delhi, the capital of India, to prepare for the Engineering entrance exam. I qualified in JEE-2005, and made a choice to study at IIT Kharagpur. No doubt, I chose Electronics engineering as my career option due to my large fascination towards electronic circuits (and also due to fear of computers) . My life took a complete U-turn in IIT Kharagpur. Being from a rural background, it was very difficult for me to adapt to a (sub) urban life. But, it didn't take much time for me to color myself into a true kgpian. IIT kgp taught me many things apart from giving me a career. These four years were the best part of my life. Sometimes, I mugged for exams without sleeping for nights. Sometimes, I spent the whole night talking to the friends. Sometimes, I worked for hours in the lab. Sometimes, I watched the whole season of a TV series sitting continuously with my wing mates. I enjoyed my kgp life both academically and non-academically. After Graduation, I joined the Bangalore office of Nvidia Graphics Pvt. Ltd. as a Hardware Engineer. Although, I wanted to go to the research area. But, Sometimes life gives us very few options. But, sooner or later, I aspire to do something big in my life. I want to leave my mark (obviously in a positive way) on this world. My sports of interest are Badminton and Athletics. I enjoy listening music and talking to my friends.
